The Beauty Of The Night
2021
The night calls and I am there. Breathing in the starry expanses, enchanted.
The Faces We See
2021
The faces we see are the loves we share. In each is a deep well of experience and life. Some are too young to have been formed by age and yet there is more there. When we look, if we look, we see. We connect. It is that moment that shines for me as a photographer. A rare moment of connection when we are unguarded and open. Seeing something more deeply takes time and patience, something I still am learning. But even in our hurried and harried times, we can still take time. I hope this collection inspires you to spend more time with the people you love and to see them as God sees all of us, with Love..
Electricity
2022
What is electricity. The flux of ions and neutrons and something we call a chemical reaction that makes light shimmer? I think not. It's more of a feeling. The coming together of a moment in just the right way where sparks fly..
First Impressions
2021
There is so much more to what we see than what we see. It is in our hearts. There are times when I embrace an image of still photography and know it is meant to be, and will be, more. More than the static lines and crisp sharpness of picture. I work with my hands and the tools around me to be the creator I am and to craft my vision as I felt it. This too is the art of my heart.
An Expression of Soul
2021
We move through life in a Dance. Sometimes present, sometimes not. Sometimes self-conscious, sometimes not. Sometimes so lost in the moment we float, beautifully open to the possibilities. Those moments are where art begins. Before I click the shutter button... Before I put pen or paint on paper... I feel a shift and the art comes through me, from me, from my deepest self. Each preserves and perseveres as an expression of my humanity. All art is an Expression of Soul. It speaks to me and I hope it speaks to you.
Glimpse
2022
Lines and windows. These are the hallmarks of a life. Marked, as it were, by stagnancy or by poignant lifts and echoes. Some lines we see, perhaps in a mirror, others become illuminated as we strive or look past the shadows. What do you see? Light? or dark? or something in between.
Spring
2022
Each season brings renewal and hope. It can also bring a despairing sense of unrepair as we long for things old that once sustained us. Loves lost. Craters we fell into. Caverns that echo. In those moments, I find myself drawn into the unfolding textures and patterns. Here, in a close space, we can be suspended and entranced. We can take a narrow view of what was or a broader view of what is and may yet be. My hope is that with these, you too find yourself amid... stable, balanced, blooming.
In Green
2021
In Green I become my heart space. I long and linger in places old, familiar, and new. In each I find a moment of awe and wonder. Wander in and see what awaits you.
The Ever-Changing Scene
2021
The scene is set. A table laid. A painting hung. It is what it is. Or is it? What happens when we acknowledge that there is, or could be, more there than we thought a moment ago? What happens when what we see unfolds into something else, something unusual, something unexpected. That's life, right? ... expect the unexpected ... which can be wonderful and (or) surreal. Like Alice through the Looking Glass, I folded in and out of these images, ultimately finding something different. What do you see?
